Contract

We are seeking a Test Engineer Python to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, with a focus on test automation using Python. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.
• Identify, track, and report software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python for test automation.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance testing).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in testing APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
