Contract

We are seeking a skilled Storage and SAN Administrator to manage and maintain our storage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) and a strong understanding of storage systems and data management.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Storage Area Networks (SAN) and related infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize storage performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Perform capacity planning, ensuring storage systems can scale with organizational needs.
• Configure and troubleshoot storage systems, including RAID, LUNs, and zoning.
• Manage backups, data replication, and disaster recovery processes.
• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.
• Maintain storage security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Document configurations, processes, and system changes for audit and support purposes.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Proven experience with SAN storage solutions (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM).
  • Experience in managing enterprise storage systems and backups.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in storage protocols such as FC, iSCSI, and NFS.
  • Familiarity with storage management tools and monitoring solutions.
  • Understanding of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
