Job Title: Software QA Engineer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases for sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing of web applications (UI and REST APIs).
• Develop automated tests using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and RestAssured.
• Identify, report, and verify bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
• Analyze and report on regression test runs.
• Design, maintain, and execute non-functional performance tests using tools like JMeter.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• 2+ years of industry experience in testing distributed systems and SaaS software.
• Experience with testing web services or REST APIs, either from code or using tools like SoapUI or Postman.
• Proven experience in HL7 FHIR conformance testing is a strong advantage.
• Automation and scripting experience using Java (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured).
• Hands-on experience with performance and scale testing tools such as JMeter is a plus.
• Proficiency with code management and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of databases like Oracle, MS-SQL, and MongoDB.

Industry Experience:

• Experience in the Insurance industry is a plus.
• Experience in the Hospital and Healthcare industry is a plus.
