Halian is currently looking for a Sybase Database Administrator to reinforce our managed services team in charge of the IT infrastructure of a major European Institution located in Luxembourg.

About the role

As a Sybase DBA you will be part of a highly skilled team and your responsibilities will be:

• Participate actively in daily tasks
• Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting
• Prepare and execute small and large projects
• Contribute to the delivery of projects
• Propose and contribute to technical improvement plans
• Ensure compliancy (in operations and projects)
• Insure client satisfaction

Key skills and Background

• University Degree in computer sciences
• At least 5 years of proven experience as Sybase Database Administrator in production environment: development, test, UAT, production
• Strong knowledge of:
• Sybase IQ
• Sybase ASE
• RedHat
• Knowledge in any of the following products will be considered as great asset:
• MSSQL
• Oracle
• Considered as an asset :
• Azure Devops
• Ansible
• ASE High Availability/Replication Server
• Splunk
• Good knowledge with : Autosys, Nagios, Netbackup
• English is mandatory, French nice to have
• You have a good sense of team spirit
• You are customer oriented as it is a must to adhere to Halian's culture
