Our client is a financial institution based in Luxembourg

The Project manager will be part of a growing team, responsible for Managing a Portfolio of Projects relevant to new products, services and technologies. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from early business case and analysis to rollout in production.
  • Monitor, control and report the progress of assignments under according to the project management methodology used and the defined KPIs
  • Collaborate with technical business analysis and product Teams throughout the project.
  • Safeguard the compatibility and consistency with existing architectural and enterprise standards of requirements and deliverables
  • Organize meetings/ calls with stake holders as required
  • Work closely with Business Units and Project Team on coordination activities, budget, vendor Management and Dependencies management
  • Contribute in the resources Capacity management (internal & external) and compliance with committed deliverables
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Maintain the overall project plan with key milestones, assignments, resources, dependencies etc.
  • Act as the primary go-to person and point of contact for change requests, new features, and deviations.
  • Manage a portfolio or small projects in the form of a product roadmap.
Skills
  • Strong understanding of PMO functions, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and frameworks (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). PMP or Prince2 certification will be considered a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Managing a Projects’ Portfolio
  • Experience in building complex reports based on KPIs
  • Strong skills on MS Office products e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word and experience in presentations
Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in IT projects preferably on large scale IT projects in the financial industry
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or in a related field
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of an Organization. Must possess a positive attitude a strong team spirit.
  • Work autonomously within a team and act as a bridge between teams that need to work closely for a common task or goal
  • Proven leadership qualities such as conflict/issue resolution
  • Ability to work under pressure for meeting deadlines
  • Motivated and proactive
  • Ability to foster collaboration and best practice exchange across projects
  • Good in Time-Management, Critical Thinking and multi-tasking 
  • Fluent in English language, both verbal and written.
