A leading institution in the technology sector is currently seeking a Microservices Integration Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures using modern tools and frameworks. This role is critical for ensuring seamless, scalable, and high-performing integration in an event-driven ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Microservices Design & Development: Design and implement robust microservices architecture following best practices and patterns, ensuring services are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Java Development: Leverage strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code, and build RESTful APIs for integration into the microservices ecosystem.
• Integration & Frameworks: Utilize Apache Camel to build and manage integration routes, and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for reliable messaging and communication.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze, debug, and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability, monitoring and enhancing system performance to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving development processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Redis or RabbitMQ for messaging and caching.
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong experience in Java development with a focus on OOP principles, proficiency in designing microservices and implementing them using frameworks like Apache Camel, and hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven integration.
• Technical Skills: Microservices architecture design patterns, Java (strong OOP and API development), Apache Camel for integration, Kafka for event-driven messaging.
• Additional Skills: Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and CI/CD practices.

Additional Information:

• Candidates with experience in Redis, RabbitMQ, or MongoDB will have an advantage.
