Job Title: IT Program Director

Job purpose:
Our client are seeking a strategic and dynamic IT Program Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing large-scale IT programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering high-quality results. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of IT frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple IT programs from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define program objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop comprehensive program plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives.
• Monitor program progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analysing program performance and implementing best practices.
• Mentor and develop program management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure programs leverage innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years experience in IT program management
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, PMI).
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile).
• UAE / GCC experience
