Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: Remote

Role and Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, upgrade, and maintain systems across Windows, Linux, ESX, and virtual environments.
• Perform installation, setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of IT infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure security hardening of systems and apply critical patches as necessary.
• Maintain system security, antivirus protection, and implement business continuity strategies.
• Develop, manage, and maintain various data center policies and procedures.
• Manage IT budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Ensure the highest levels of availability for applications and infrastructure.
• Design and manage backup and restore operations, including disaster recovery plans.
• Provide infrastructure design solutions and integrate Virtualization, Cloud technology, and workload orchestration into client data centers.
• Maintain and configure backup policies and redundancy strategies.
• Collaborate closely with clients and third parties on infrastructure planning and operations.
• Create and deliver reports and documentation for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client infrastructure teams.

Other Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment, with expert knowledge in SAN, cloud computing, server operating systems, and application deployments.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Solid experience in disaster recovery planning and operations.
• Expertise in load balancing and clustering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for technology and innovation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong management and leadership abilities.
