A leading investment management firm have an exciting opportunity for a Fund Finance Manager to join their team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing the day to day financial activities of a variety of  closed-ended Private Equity Funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in fund operations.
• Oversee and mentor the fund finance team, ensuring effective execution of day-to-day activities and professional development of team members. 
• Perform detailed reviews of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with third-party fund administrators.
• Review and approve capital call notices and distribution notices to ensure correctness and timely communication with investors.
• Perform and validate carried interest and waterfall calculations in accordance with fund agreements.
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements. Work closely with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and deliver within regulatory timelines.
• Onboard new funds, portfolios, deals, and clients on the system. 

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA) is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in fund administrator & finance operations, preferably within an investment management or private equity firm.
• Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures, closed-ended fund operations, and various types of waterfalls/carried interest calculations.
• Experience of handling Fund audits & coordinating with Fund Administrators
• Hands-on experience with fund accounting & portfolio management applications like FIS Investran, eFront, & Dynamo.
