About the Role

One of the largest banks in the UAE is seeking a  React/React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interface components using React.js and React Native.
• Translate design wireframes and mockups into fully functional, responsive web applications.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future scalability.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
• Identify and resolve performance issues proactively.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.
• Document technical specifications and maintain proper component documentation.
• Ensure strong security measures to protect user data and application integrity.

Technical Skills & Technologies

Frontend Development:

• React.js, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Webpack, Babel, GraphQL
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• RESTful APIs

Databases:

• MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server

Tools & Frameworks:

• Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, ESLint, Prettier
• IntelliJ, STS, Eclipse, SoapUI, Postman, Git
• Xcode, Android Studio, Confluence, Jira, Figma

Cloud & DevOps:

• Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure

Experience & Soft Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in frontend development.
• Experience handling platform/hosting support functionalities.
• Prior banking industry experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive approach to learning new technologies and optimizing existing processes.
