Step into a pivotal role as a Disaster Recovery Manager, where you'll play a crucial part in maintaining business continuity and resilience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be part of a high-caliber team, ensuring the operational stability of key systems and processes while overcoming complex technological hurdles.

Your Mission:

• Lead with strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee disaster recovery (DR) frameworks that protect critical infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime during disruptions.
• Build resilience: Architect scalable, robust DR solutions across cloud platforms, using tools such as AWS and GCP. Automate DR environments with orchestration tools (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Terraform) to boost efficiency and response speed.
• Risk management: Perform in-depth risk assessments, utilizing advanced machine learning models and conducting simulations to ensure readiness for unexpected challenges.
• Test and validate: Design and execute disaster recovery drills and stress-test systems with chaos engineering techniques. Continuously monitor and refine recovery plans using observability tools to ensure top performance.
• Collaborate and lead: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with DR strategies, taking charge during crisis events to lead recovery efforts and minimize impact.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and provide detailed reports on DR performance to senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

• 15+ years of experience in disaster recovery or business continuity roles
• 3+ years in leadership, managing highly technical teams
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Backup, Amazon RDS, and cloud-native DR solutions
• Expertise in cloud-based DR strategies using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and similar tools
• Strong understanding of modern architectures such as microservices and serverless computing
• Proven experience managing high-impact DR projects and navigating complex business environments
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to senior leadership
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields; certifications such as CDRP, CISSP, or ISO 22301 LI are highly valued.
