Bid Manager - Solar Energy & Renewables
Dubai, UAE


Job Purpose:  
As Bid Manager for the Clean Energy sector across the GCC, you will oversee the complete bid lifecycle for large tenders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing profitability. This role is critical in managing complex bid processes from qualification to submission.

Key Responsibilities:  
- Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end bid process, including opportunity qualification, prequalification, bid strategy development, and submission.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, legal, finance) to gather inputs and ensure comprehensive, competitive bids.
- Costing & Proposals: Develop and maintain financial models, compile costs (including financing and logistics), and prepare commercial and technical offers.
- Approval Process: Manage internal approval workflows, preparing recommendations and comparison tables for senior management.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring proposals align with client needs and market trends. Participate in meetings and negotiations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of bid coordinators and analysts, fostering a collaborative, results-driven work environment.
- Post-Bid: Manage submission, follow-up, and negotiation stages, ensuring compliance with deadlines and tender requirements. Facilitate project handover after bid closure.

Qualifications:  
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in bid management, project management, or business development within the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proven success in managing and winning complex, competitive bids.
- Strong understanding of bid processes, commercial terms, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
