David O’Malley

Group Finance Director

David O’Malley joined Halian in 2004, and brought with him a strong financial background from a variety of different industries, including media, manufacturing, printing, security, and not least, IT services. Dave was attracted to Halian because it was a dynamic, forward-thinking company which matched his own aspirations to make a difference.

“I always feel that Halian has the ability to punch above its weight; the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts. There are not many companies the size of Halian with the appetite, let alone the ability, to ‘boldly’ go into new territories like the Middle East and Africa, as well as compete in tough home markets across Europe.”

In his free time, David can be found moonlighting as a taxi driver for his daughters, playing golf, or cheering on Luton Town Football Club.

Levon Antonian

Group Managing Director

Levon co-founded Halian in 1996 with Jon Halpenny, after spending the previous 5+ years working in IT sales, and he’s never looked back. While helping Halian grow from a fledgling, two-man operation into the multi-national company it is today, Levon is still striving for more.

“Being ‘good’ is okay, but being ‘great’ is what we want to achieve – and I define that in terms of what our staff and our customers think of us, as well as what we achieve compared to the best companies in our chosen markets.”

In Levon’s very limited free time, he loves to watch his son play rugby, cheering on his beloved Gooners, and skiing. He is proud to call Reading, a town famous for Ricky Gervais, the Reading Royals, the London Irish, and of course, Halian, his home.

Stuart Fry

Group Sales Director

Stuart joined Halian in 2007, after spending the previous nine years as Head of Consulting and the Managing Director of two IT service companies. After two years as Sales Director in the UK, Stuart relocated to Dubai to establish Halian in the “Emerging Markets” of the Middle East region.

“I am a great believer in exceeding our customers’ expectations and building relationships beyond a simple “Customer-Supplier” engagement. By becoming a strategic partner for our customers, we enable them to do more and deliver technology more effectively.”

When Stuart isn’t out pursuing new customers, he enjoys golfing, spending time with his three daughters, and dutifully supporting Brighton & Hove Albion football club.
